Today’s Training:
2-mile run, tires, walk, core work. Humid!
Things I’ve learned along the way:
When you ride a bike around a one-mile loop, it feels as though the wind is blowing in all directions. Then, when you get off the bike and run the same course, you will find that there are absolutely windless spots where, in 25 degree weather, it is all you can do to breathe.
Pine needles scratch. Or maybe it was the dead twiggy branches.
Remember the sunscreen, especially on your poor defenceless ears.
Discouragement happens. Keep moving anyway.
